Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing practical and organizational support to the technical director, project manager, designers, presenters, stage crew and technicians throughout the show. Are also the technical director's representative during presentations, making sure that the production runs smooth. The technical director and the stage manager work side by side, with the stage manager recording the technical director's decisions about blocking and notes for the presenters, keeping track of logistical and scheduling details and communicating what goes on in rehearsals to the rest of the team. The stage manager has several key responsibilities and tasks to perform in each phase of a production, including, scheduling and running rehearsals, communicating the technical director's wishes to techs and crew, coordinating the work of the stage crew, calling cues and presenters’ entrances during show. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing the technical operations of the show, including lighting, audio, video, special effects, set design and construction. The T.D. determines the necessary technical support, and special needs for the show and advises PM, lighting, audio, and video engineers of the technical specifications, costs and usage of technical equipment required for the show, and supervises the implementations of approved technical designs. The technical director may be responsible for overseeing and “calling” the show. Requires a working knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures of theatre, dance, music productions and presentations including stage, set, audio, lighting, and video design and implementation of stage management, digital lighting , audio systems, stage carpentry and appropriate safety precautions and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, design sets, lighting, audio, video and lighting systems appropriate to each show and oversee stage crews. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, directing the setup, placement, rigging of audio systems, tuning, operation, and strike of the main audio system. This position is designated as, but not limited to, front-of-house engineer or monitor engineer. Includes set up and operation of: speakers, amps/proc racks, consoles, backline gear, wired and wireless mics, front-of-house and monitor control, backline, stage lines, audio playback/recording devices, and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Audio Engineers should provide the following as an industry standard: Playback computer WIFI ready, with audio editing software and adaptors for computer to be console friendly when implementing their equipment. Music account in case surprise request comes from client. Windows or Mac ready software (i.e. Microsoft Office/Microsoft Office for Mac) to read client corporate documents. Profiles on thumb drive for at least some of the popular/major digital consoles, Basic adaptors for small gig challenges (i.e. XLR turnarounds-at least a set) and cable tester and meter.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting lead audio tech with set up and dismantle of speakers, amps, proc racks, consoles, backline gear, wired and wireless mics, rigging of audio systems, front-of-house and monitor control, backline, stage lines, and audio playback/recording devices. This includes running and patching cables and testing of systems. A2 also assists A1 during show with any last minute changes, management of wireless mic frequencies, assisting presenters with microphone needs, attending to audio playback or recorders, media management and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. In some instances the A2 may be responsible for everything including running a console. A2’s should provide the following as an industry standard: Playback computer, WIFI ready, with audio editing software and adaptors for computer to be console friendly when implementing their equipment. Music account in case surprise request comes from client. Windows or Mac ready software (i.e. Microsoft Office/Microsoft Office for Mac) to read client corporate documents.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, set up and maintain equipment such as audio amplifiers, guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, organs, drum kits and various percussion instruments. The backline tech oversees the set up and tear down of backline gear insuring the equipment is working perfectly and repairing any fault if required. Set up includes cleaning equipment, erecting speakers, amps and stands, desks, laptops and keyboards, drums, anything that is used during the gig, changing strings and drum heads, tuning instruments then plugging in and testing the equipment and “line checking” prior to sound check. Taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager and ensuring spares such as batteries, drum heads, sticks, strings, fuses, leads, E Tape and gaff tape are available. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, directing the setup, placement, and rigging of video systems. Operation of video switchers with multiple sources and destinations, timing and operation of the main video system, hardware and software based playback and recording, projection rigging, converging and focusing, LED wall setup and calibration, and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Must be well versed in both Mac and PC computers, basic file management, video codecs, drive formatting, editing videos, Powerpoint, Keynote, and general graphics support. Video Engineers should provide the following as an industry standard: Playback computer WIFI ready, with conversion tools (i.e. Handbrake and MPEG Streamclip-Free), Windows or Mac ready software (i.e. Microsoft Office/Microsoft Office for Mac) to read client corporate documents, a multi-tool and a flashlight.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting lead video tech with set up and dismantle of projectors, rigging video systems, screens, distribution amps, record/playback racks, switchers, down stage monitors, preview monitors and speaker timers. This includes running and patching cables and testing of systems. V2 also assists lead video tech during show with any last minute changes, management of presenter content, attending to video recorders and playback units, media management and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. In some instances the V2 may be responsible for everything including running a switcher. V2 should provide the following as an industry standard: Playback computer WIFI ready, with conversion tools (i.e. Handbrake and MPEG Streamclip-Free), Windows or Mac ready software (i.e. Microsoft Office/Microsoft Office for Mac) to read client corporate documents.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, set up, operation and tear down of various modular display walls utilizing various software controllers and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner and assist any and all positions at any time, including loading and unloading of trucks. LED tech should provide the following as an industry standard: Playback computer WIFI ready, with conversion tools (i.e. Handbrake and MPEG Streamclip-Free), Windows or Mac ready software (i.e. Microsoft Office/Microsoft Office for Mac) to read client corporate documents.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, producing suitable accurate graphic captions across a variety of live productions and events. Graphics operators are also responsible for creating and editing full screen graphic charts and slides and photo and image editing, using PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote, and Photoshop. Taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner and assist any and all positions at any time, including loading and unloading of trucks. Graphics operator should provide the following as an industry standard: High end graphics laptop with PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote and Photoshop programs.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, skilled set up, operation during show, and dismantle of studio configuration, long lens and hand held cameras. Camera operators are required to know how to operate cameras in both a tripod and hand held configuration and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Must have working knowledge of recording and video production shoots and the key functionalities of various cameras and tripods used. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, set up, operation and tear down of the teleprompter systems. This includes transcribing scripts or recordings into readable text to be used on the teleprompter system. Some teleprompter information may be provided in advance in the form of audio or videotape that must be transcribed into text format. Teleprompter operators must be able to work with various individuals that have different speech patterns and time the text and prompter system to those presenters and take and execute cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, set‐up, tear‐down, and operation of the webcasting system, internet configuration, trouble shooting, networking, and associated audio and video equipment. This includes broadcasting of live presentations via streaming technologies and protocols to the web, taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager, recording/editing and archiving of presentations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting project manager, technical director, and sales person with general administration and “go for” type tasks. Often the P.A. is responsible for transportation of presenters or clients and running errands. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, loading and unloading of trucks, setting up, and striking of equipment. AV Techs are mainly used for the setting of meeting rooms and exhibits and have a fair knowledge of audio, lighting, and video. May also operate or float simple break-out room sets and exhibit floors, service end clients and presenters, ensures smooth meeting flow, and assists with break-out rooms, re-sets, and strikes. May, when necessary, operate simple audio and lighting consoles, and basic video switchers. Must be able to do basic editing of power point and keynote slides and take and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. AV Techs should provide the following as an industry standard: Laptop to test projectors, multi-tool and flashlight.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, implementing the lighting design for the production, overseeing the preparation, hanging, connection and focusing of fixtures and the management of power and electrical, including all aspects of metering power from tie in to distro and out. Assists lighting department with set, show, strike, set up and dismantle of rigging, lighting instruments, dimmer racks, consoles, and power distros. This includes running and patching cables and testing lighting systems. Master electrician should provide the following as an industry standard: Crescent wrench, multi-tool, wire cutters and meter.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, directing the set up and operation of the lighting system, rigging of lighting, and assisting any and all positions at any time. This includes interpreting the lighting plot for rig, light fixture placement, assignment of dimmer patches, and final focus. This includes programming and operating lighting systems and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. L1 should provide the following as an industry standard: Crescent wrench, multi-tool, wire cutters and 3-5 pin turnarounds.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting Lighting Engineer with set up and dismantle of rigging, lighting instruments, dimmer racks, consoles, power distros and assisting any and all positions at any time. This includes running and patching cables and testing lighting. L2 also assists L1 during show with any last minute changes. Must be able to take and execute cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. In some instances the Lighting Tech may be responsible for everything including running a console. L2 should provide the following as an industry standard: Crescent wrench, multi-tool and wire cutters.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, set up, operation, and tear down of lasers, confetti cannons, and foggers/hazers and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. This includes insuring all safety measures are met and adhered to. Interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner and assist any and all positions at any time, including loading and unloading of trucks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, set up, operation, and tear down of various pyrotechnic effects and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. This includes insuring all fire and safety measures are met and adhered to and that all pyro technicians have proper and necessary licenses. Interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner and to assist any and all positions at any time, including loading and unloading of trucks.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, installing rigging systems via dead hang or chain hoist and truss systems. Must be able to evaluate a proposed load and determine if the support structure can handle it safely. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, rigging and building/setup and dismantle of scenic sets, flats, pipe/drape and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Requires carpentry skills including accurate measurements. Scenic Tech should provide the following as an industry standard: Carpenter tool kit.

Responsible for, but not limited to, set up, operation and dismantle of the follow spot. This includes the ability to pan, change size, beam width, and color easily by hand and take and execute cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner and assist any and all positions at any time, including loading and unloading of trucks.

The backbone of the industry. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, general labor assisting all departments with load-in, set-up, strike, and load-out. Their main role is to assist with laborious task such as stage building, set piece placement, placement and assembly of truss, case pushing, cable runs, scaffold building, and heavy lifting of various equipment and taking and executing cues from technical director, project manager or stage manager. Interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner and to assist any and all positions at any time, including loading and unloading of trucks. Hands should provide the following as an industry standard: Crescent wrench.

We are seeking delivery/truck drivers to delivery audiovisual equipment to event sites all over Metro Atlanta. Drivers must have a license, clean driving record, and experience driving a Box Truck. To be considered you also must have a DOT health card.

Where it all begins and ends. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, general labor assisting shop manager and department heads with, show prepping, show check-ins, truck loading and offloading, inventory counting and special projects. Note most of our shop crew are also able to drive trucks and that is a plus.
